First Premier Bank Deceptive credit card practices with excessive fees Ripoff Sioux Falls South Dakota

I signed up for a credit card with this company thinking it sounded like a decent deal. When I got the card it'd been activated with a $172.00 charge applied for annual fees and setup, and a $300.00 limit. I tried to pay it off through their web site but you're charged almost a 4 dollar service fee for using the site. I then called and paid the card off and tried to cancel but was given the run around for at least 20 minutes before the guy finally agreed to cancel the card. He mentioned they were helping me out by reporting to credit services on my payment history so I shouldn't cancel, but the reality is they're getting an easy $172.00 off of people, and sending an activated unsigned credit card through the mail.

Here recently I've noticed I've been getting a lot of junk email for credit cards and services, where before I signed up for the First Premier website I got zero junk mail from bogus credit services. (I'm very very careful with who I gve my main email address out to.) I can only guess they've sold my information to spam mail services which is pretty much the icing on the cake of bad experiences I've had with this company. I would suggest people be very very cautious when dealing with this company.
