After a year with North american bankcard I was ready to tell them goodby, they charge more than the salesman said, they lied about using my personal social security number I specifically told the salesman I wouuld not go longer than a year contract ( yes he lied and I am being told it is a three year contract with a $ 575.00 dolllar penalty) I have the orignial paper work I filled out and mailed in and it plailnly states in my own hadwritting no more than a year, and Mrs. Tippen didn't return the call like I was told she would. So when you write a rebuttal Miss Tippen please answer why you do not return calls.......

I would love to see a class action lawsuit, all you have to do is go to google and type in North American Bankcard Complaints and see all the sites (yes there is more than just this one) that handles all the complaints against this company. Even the Troy better business bureau has over one hundred complalints listed against this company.

Dear Merchant,

North American Bancard works very diligently to resolve all customer issues and complaints. Since our inception in 1992, we have worked with over 125,000 merchants of all sizes and levels of complexity. We provide a high level of service and support to our customers, as is evidenced by the low number of complaints we handle. Occasionally we, like any other large company, may make a mistake or mishandle an issue. When these are brought to our attention we resolve them to the best of our ability. Our 250+ employees work hard every day to make doing business with NAB a pleasure for our merchants and stakeholders, all we ask is the opportunity to recover well.

In regards to the length of the agreement, your individual Agreement Terms and Conditions clearly states the length of the agreement that you may have with NAB.

Unfortunately enough information was not provided for us to accurately determine your specific Merchant Account. If you have additional paperwork that states that there is an addendum to the Terms and Conditions, we would be more than happy to review.

NAB would like to apologize for any unsatisfactory service related issues you have experienced and would like to take the opportunity to discuss this matter further. Please have your Merchant Account number ready, and contact our Customer Service Department at 800-226-2273, extension 1300 so that your specific situation may be properly researched and addressed.
