Northern Leasing Systems Inc Theft--no other word for it! Sioux Falls South Dakota

My husband started a small business in 2006. He was contacted by a woman representing Northern Leasing Systems. She told us to put the Lease in my name rather than my husband's. The amount of lease was to be taken out of the business account each month. She said the lease was for 1 year--not 4. We received a copy of the lease in the mail soon after. It had been reduced in size from 11 x 14 to 10 x 8; it was UNREADABLE!! The business closed in 2007. I made payments for a few months, but they still hassled me. I would get one notice saying I owed one amount...a week later, another notice showing a different amount. The amounts never coincided.

Then the clincher. One day I found that they had withdrawn $265.00 from my PERSONAL checking account. They had NO authorization to do this; they did not notify me OR my bank that they were going to do this. This is ILLEGAL. The bank stated they had to give notice to take steps like this. They reversed the transaction.

A few weeks later, I talked to someone and arranged to make a payment for $130 and follow up with $130 each month until caught up to date. Less than 3 weeks later, there was another debit on my account....this time for almost $400. Again, no authorization and no notice.
