My husband and I signed up with 1st National Credit to get help with debt management. We were doing okay, making our bills on time but thought that if we had some help that it would be smoother. Not the case! Our credit went from one or 2 30 days past due to all of the accounts under FNCS being past 90 days. WE would call daily, never being able to speak to the same person twice, just to check on our account.

We kept getting creditor calls, which were supposed to have stopped. We would direct them to FNCS where they would be unavailable for our creditors and ourselves included. This went on for 3 months, supposed to be straightened out in 60 days, when finally we called to get some answers and the supervisor falsely accused us of using profanities and harrassing his staff and that we were cancelled to send a letter of cancellation and he hung up.

When called back to ask what the letter should entail and about a refund of our undispersed funds, we were hung up on repeatedly. We FedExed them a letter to say that our account was cancelled. Should've been end of story but it's not. We had our bankl do a reversal of the funds that they automatically withdrew from account when we paid check by phone in March, this was not dispersed to any of our creditors as of April 25 when they cancelled us.

We never signed any authorization to have them automatically transfer funds without a check number, however yesterday nearly 1 month after cancellation and 4 months since the beginning of this nightmare, there was an unauthorized debit on our account of $298 for their cancellation fee! Since the cancellation I have reporte them to the BBB, Florida State Attorney General and several news media organizations.

I just want them to pay for what they have done to us and so many others. If I would've have researched them first or even tried to deal with our creditors on our own, we would't be in the mess we are now, trying to dig oursleves out of the hole FNCS left us in. If anyone has any suggestions, I am open to them, from the looks of this website, we are not the only ones the be scammed by FNCS!
