ALLIED INTERSTATE WAS ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT A DEBT FOR OVER 18OO DOLLARS FOR CINGULAIR WIRELESS.
CINGULAIR HAD ALREADY TRIED AND I AGREED I OWED THEM ABOUT 900 DOLLARS AND THEY REFUSED TO BUDGE, SO THEY REFERRED THE ACCOUNT TO ALLIED INTERSTATE.
THEY CALLED AND SPOKE WITH MY WIFE WHO, UNFORTUNATELY, DID NOT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM.
THEY TOLD HER THAT THEY WOULD SETTLE THE ACCOUNT FOR 800 DOLLARS IF SHE GAVE THEM OUR BANKING INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE.
THEY WOULD TAKE 200 DOLLARS OUT OF OUR ACCOUNT AND BILL US FOR THE REMAINING 600 DOLLARS.
SHE DID THIS, THEY TOOK OUT THE 200 DOLLARS AND NEVER SENT THE BILL FOR THE REMAINING 600.
THE FORM OF CANCELLED CHECK I GOT FROM THE BANK HAD NO INFORMATION ON IT AS HOW TO CONTACT ALLIED INTERSTATE.
NOW I AM RECEIVING A BILL FROM A NEW COLLECTION AGENCY FOR ABOUT 1600 DOLLARS.
SO I GUESS THE PERSON FROM ALLIED INTERSTATE LIED TO MY WIFE, TOOK THE 200 AND GOT OUT.
I DON'T KNOW IF CINGULAIR EVER SAW ANY OF IT.
I AM JUST GLAD THEY DIDN'T CLEAN OUT MY WHOLE ACCOUNT.

1. The WPB office does not handle ANY Cingular wireless accounts. Please make sure that if you are going to make derogatory remarks about a company, that you have the right one.
2. Why would anyone give any checking account information without getting all the information about that company first. You can not hold Allied responsible because your wife did not get thier information. When I do a check by phone, I make sure my consumers have my contact number before I hang up.
3. Why didn't you contact Cingular Wireless to find out where your account was?
4. If the new collection agency is now trying to collect $1600 instead of the original $1800, obviously, Cingular wireless got the $200 you paid to Allied or how would they have known the difference in the balance.
In closing, please make sure that your complaint is legit. Statements like yours are harmful when they are not complete.
