I have been an American Express customer for over 20 years and used the card for most purchases. I had excellent credit until losing my job in 2009 and recently fell behind by two months. I called AMEX to let them know I would pay but needed to collect from my customer first. Said I was willing to pay finance charges-but I was told that was not an option-pay up or it goes to collection.

I also had AMEX Plum. Never late and sometimes early. Paid off the entire amount this month that I owed and they cancelled that account too.

I'm done with AMEX. Screw them!

That's The Way It Is

Have been in business for 27 years and have had my own shop, next month, 17 years. Some months, business was slow and things were tight. The companies that have understood that and have worked with me through the tight times, I'm still doing business with. The companies that were jerks, got paid off and told to screw off. Now that things are REALLY tight, those companies are calling, begging for business. Funny how things turn around. I remind them how it was when things were tight for me and how they treated me like crap and why should they expect anything different. I told a/e years ago to screw off. Never did see that plum thing they were pushing.

American Express harassed me when I became disabled and was not able to make my monthly payment. The caused my cell phone to ring nonstop. They violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act or FDCPA. As a result of the continued harassment I did some research and found a consumer protection lawyer who works on a contingency fee. I have successfully collect $500.00 from each and every creditor who has harassed me to death . American Express harassed me when I became disabled and was not able to make my monthly payment. The caused my cell phone to ring nonstop. They violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act or FDCPA. As a result of the continued harassment I did some research and found a consumer protection lawyer who works on a contingency fee. I have successfully collect $500.00 from each and every creditor who has harassed me to death. The attorney make between $2500.00 and $4000.00 per complaint. It cost me nothing and has stopped my phone from ringing.



It is now my missions to make everyone I can aware of this little know legal remedy and hopefully bring the banks to their knees. I am working on a YouTube video and will be flooding Twitter. Please pass this on to everyone. We as consumers could literally put American Express and these other taxpayer, bailed out banks out of business for good. My goal is 1 million informed consumers who will cost American Express and other greedy bankers 4.5 billion dollars each.
