I could not believe my eyes when I found your site and looked up this company! I was scammed to the tune of $1394 (what was taken out of my checking account for one month of the auto draft). I then canceled on advice of a friend. I thought I had honestly and thoroughly checked AMMEND out (BBB, etc.) But I did not find THIS site!

I have saved all my emails and correspondence w/ this Scott Helterbridle, if that is even his name. I had originally signed up with AMMEND in Dec, 2006. Even though he said money had gone to pay on 6 of my credit card accounts, I only found $200 paid to one of them on one of my statements.

Every time I have tried to contact AMMEND now I get no response. I tried to find alternate telephone numbers, and address, but no luck. I am now going to try some legal action and see if that might get some of my money back.

So, being out almost $1200 has me feeling MAD and I now feel like I have some legal ammunition, as I went so long wondering what I could possibly do.
Please don't be upset at me for being evasive; I'm just being a little protective. I hope to have an answer within a month or so! The return of $1200 would make a nice Christmas present, wouldn't it?

If you believe you have been misguided and have had money taken by Ammend Credit Counseling/Scott Helterbridle for any sum must contact and file a criminal complaint with their local police department and then the MADEIRA OHIO Police Department @ (513) 272-4214. Reference Madeira Police department when contacting your local police department. Include: 1.) Original Contract between you and Ammend/Scott Helterbridle. 2.) Amount of money lost. 3.) Original statements from creditors showing payments where never received. 4.) Any corresponding emails between you and your so called counselor, Scott Helterbridle.

Be Persistent and get your money back, This practice is fraud and theft which is ILLEGAL.
