I had a debit card through this bank. I entered my acount number in my computer to buy what I thought was a good deal on a satalite for tv. I recieved my system that I purchased for $39.99 and thought that it was a good company.

Afterward this same company called Skyboxtv took from my debit card account an aditional $189.00 that I didn't approve for them to take and was not aware that they did this untill we recived our statement.

It was then I found out how uncaring and selfish this bank it.

I contacted them and told them of this incident. They said they would reverse the charge back to the company. I thought then that they cared for there customers.

I then find out that they are going to credit this fraud company back my money. I then explaned to them that I couldn't get a hold of anyone at this company.

I was then told by a representive of this bank that there was nothing I could do because the company I gave my account to was not a good company and because of this they would get my money back. I was told that they would credit this back to the fraud company call Skyboxtv on the following Friday. I said that was fine and there was nothing I could do.

It made me mad that they would not give me the information that they had to get a hold of this company. I then found out that a day later after my wife went to the grocery store to purchase food for out family for the week that her debit card didn't have sufficant funds in it. It made her look really stupid and embarassed her badly. I then found out that AnchorBank lied to me and gave this fraud company my money back early.

I now decided to close all my accounts with this bank as sone as all the checks have cleared and tell all the people that I know what a rotten bank that it is.

A person would think that in this great nation that we have that the banks we trust our money to would do so little to protect us from fraud companies like the one I gave my account too. I also called AnchorBank to find out why they did this and they told me because I had told they that I would be closing my accounts with them they they thought it would be in the best interest of the bank to pull this money from me and give it back to the fraud company.

I have worked long and hard to be the honest person that I am just to have it be crushed and my trust in banks and other people in this country to be on very shakey grounds. I don't thinking that everyone is out to cheat me now but it is hard to do after dealing with this bank.
