Arena and Associates Rob Arena STOLE $1,500 FROM ME - DID NOTHING - HURT MY BUSINESS AND FAMILY Boulder, Colorado

A guy named Rob Arena called my business (we are on the Do Not Call List) claiming that he was an agent of the government and that if we did not pay him $1,500 that he was going to levy our bank accounts.

My husband and I have run an underground utility company in western Colorado now for 20 years.  We have three children and one new grandchild. I assumed that when I received this call from this guy, being in Boulder where my husband attended CU undergraduate in engineering, that Rob was being honest.

Well we are struggling anyway- had I known that he was a telephone lawyer and had been trained and worked for OMNI Financial Services, another scam, I would have never given him our hard earned money.

Two weeks after giving him our money, he never returned calls, would not give us a billing statement, and after I refused to give him another $5,000 to "finish the deal" he offered me a gift certificate to some Italian Restaurant in Boulder. We don't want to eat ravioli we just want our money back!  

We wound up selling some jewelry, and getting an equity loan and paid it off- but had we saved the $1,500.
