Briggs And Baker ripoff took $5900 from me to eliminate debt but like so many here all they did was take my $$ and run. now AMEX says they're going to sue me. Beverly Hills California

Seems pointless to even fight Briggs and Baker, given all the people here who have also been ripped off. So now what? Declare bankruptcy? I went to B&B in the first place because I couldn't afford the debt I had. That was in March of 2003. Now, three years later, I'm still in debt and likely going to be sued. This is very depressing. I'm disabled and in poor health and this isn't helping matters. Doesn't seem like much point to even typing this other than to vent. Nothing ever comes of anything when dealing with Briggs & Baker. And now they have a Beverly Hills office. Glad to see someone's living high on the hog, cuz it sure isn't me.
