CAMCO Capital Acquisitions & Management Company ripoff I have no clue what the debt is I just want them to leave me alone. Rockford Illinois

At the end of December, 2003 my 15-year-old son received a message from Camco saying their was a problem with his father's social security number and it was urgent he returned the call.
When my husband returned the call they did not even know his correct name and what the call was regarding.

Finally, they revealed that we had an outstanding debt of $3000.00 from Union Bank, but would settle for $1500.00. I have never even dealt with this bank at any time. We asked them to send copies of any documentation, which they said they had on three different occasions. We are still waiting. Each time we have spoken to Camco their stories change and we end up speaking to at least three different people. Among these people are Carol White, Shawn Johnson, Tony Marsala and Rebecca Franks. The sad thing is, besides ripping people off poor old Carol White sounds like she could be someones grandmother!
I believe it is time the national news finds out about this one, maybe ABC's 20/20, Dateline or 60 Minutes can investigate.

I too am being harrassed by this company who is trying to get me to pay $5,894.47 on an account I've never had nor charged too. I would like to be included in any class action that might be pending to stop them from fraudulent behavior.
