CAMCO - Capital Acquistions & Management RIPOFF FRAUD - trying to collect a debt that is not ours! Rockford Illinois

Thanks to all the prior reports - they have been eye-opening! We received CAMCO letter stating that we owed a debt of over $3500 for a Household Bank Account formerly held by Fourscore Resource Capital. We spoke with a number of ill-mannered, rude reps(Michelle Mitchell, Jennifer Black, Glen Ross, phone receptionists to name a few real or fake names!) Glenn Ross said he would remove our name and phone number from this account but that never happened. We receive daily calls from this organization.

Thanks to this website I contacted the Florida Attorney General's Office - Dept. of Financial Services(regulates collection agencies) 800-848-####. I will be sending a certified letter to CAMCO to cease and desist with request that we will only accept proof of the debt if our signature is on it. I was also referred to the Illinois Attorney Generals' Office Consumer Protection Division 217-782-#### I have downloaded the complaint form from their site and will be filing. The Illinois dept. is currently investigating and my letter to CAMCO is copied to the dept stating that the Illinois Atty General Office will be contacting them on our behalf. Good Luck to all --- what a scam this is!
