Capital One Credit Card ripoff credit card company Stay away from them victimized many consumers Richmond Virginia

Capital One sent a credit card preapproved to me. I hadn't applied for it but, since they wanted me so desparately to have it I took it.
No problem, I used it then the problems began.

#1> My payment was always on time, and for more than the minimum amount due. But, the checks never seemed to get cashed by them until the day after the payment was due. Therefore my payment went for late and overlimit fees and I was in the hole another amount. I contacted them and they really didn't care. Same ole story the check was late getting there.

#2> Next excuse was that they have a policy they do not credit payments on the day they get them they wait until midnight to post them. How convenient. That makes a payment made on time late.

#3> The only time they credited my payment when they got it was when I certified it with return receipt.

#4> Now I am in collection for much more than the amount I owed. I now deal with strong armed mean collectors who like to threaten me. I even made an offer to settle and they said they would take it to their client then in the next breath wanted more money.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THEY ARE CROOKS AND ARE A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY. WONDER WHY? THEY USE CONSUMERS
