I had to pay my credit card on July 30th and I had a problem with my bank while my check was cash. This was a Thursday, anyway I paid on Saturday Second but Capital One only report the payment several days later.

My monthly payment was for 39 dollars aproximatelly and now they are charging 39 dollars for late payment and my credit with them is for 500 dollars and as I was used all this credit and I did not have available credit in my card they extracharged me for another 39 dollars.

Is it possible this? I ask a question, what's the really size of the damage if I no pay 39 dollars? For this this reason I need to pay another 78 dollars?

Oh my god we are in recession and the banks are helping?

Pay on time

Payments made on weekends are treated as Monday business. That is specifically stated on the website.

Late fee is $39
Overlimit fee is $39

Make your payments the day you get your bill and you will avoid these charges.

Capital One treated me better that I imagined

I was surprised with the agility that Capital One removed this fee from my records. In really I need to fight always with another entities to get some result. I appreciate. With another entities or I need to fight up my patience is over or a need to assimilate that they can charge a fee so many time they like. I believe this is the best behavior of these entities if they want to keep happy customers.
