Capitol One Credit Card Company Helps the suspect(s) but not the consumer San Francisco California

Recently I was the victim of identity theft. Luckily as a retired San Francisco Police Officer I knew what agencies to contact immediately. I contacted three(3) seperate law enforcement agencies in addition to the US Postal Service. I contacted Capitol One several times. They refused to provide any suspect information although known to them.

Each Police Department called several times and their response was less than adequate. After numerous calls the Police Departments were able to put bits nd pieces together to obtain solid information who and the where the suspects were. Capitol One forwarded me a letter their investigation was closed yet the Company continued to send my creidt card information to several adresses' in San Francisco Calif.

In summary Capitol One places more of a priority helping suspects to rip you off than helping the consumer who is being ripped off. Their staff are nonchalant, uncooperative, unproffesional, and in general useless. Luckily the Police Investigators working the case persisted...Capitol One pathetic.
