CIT Lease Finance Group Harassment, Fraudulent Billing, Insane Interest Rates Would not let us return equipment, Charged overly high interest rates, call on the phone and harass us ripoff Chicago Illinois

We set up an account with Bank USA in order to receive credit card payments for our small business. They used an outside party, CIT Lease Finance Group, to lease us our credit card machine, for a term of 48 months at $67 (including fees) a month. (The machine's total worth is only $900, new.)

Bank USA began debiting our business account before the contracted date and did not comply with their promise of "the first two months free." We canceled our account with them and tried to return the machine, which were led to believe was a cancelable lease. Instead we were made to continue these outlandish payments, for the last three years.

We've paid approximately $2216 up to date. Interest on top of interest. They call and harass us with phone calls, beginning at 6:30am some days, twelve and fifteen times a day. Sometimes they will mumble something incoherent and hang up. We've tried to negotiate with them, as we've paid for the machine more than twice and are no longer in business with Bank USA, to no avail.
