Citgo Credit Card issued by Associates National Bank outlandish ripoff late fees dishonest ripoffs Des Moines Iowa

I have had a Citgo account for about 10 years. My account was closed after I made the mistake of entering into a debt management contract with CESI which I canceled the day after when I realized they charge a $10.00 fee for each credit card included (another rip off if you are trying to straighten your credit).

I called Citgo and all my creditors to inform them that I was no longer in the debt management program. Citgo now alleges that I owe them a late fee of $20.00 because the payment that I made was based on my debt management contract and is not the minimum that I really owe. I asked the rep that I spoke to how come they didnt call me right after they received my payment to inform me that it was short so I could pay the difference and he said they did, which is a lie. Yesterday was the first call I received from them and conveniently so.
