I just coming out of High School and had no prior knowledge of credit or how it works all I knew was that it was important or would be in the future. Anyways, I was browsing the web and looking to get my first credit card. I don't kwow how I fell on Clout visa but I did and within a few days I received a credit card with a $600 credit limit and I just gotten my first job and was excited. So to be truthful, I went over the limit and my spending was out of control but I was only a dollar over the limit and had not realized and with with over the limit charges, my bill cam to $660 and that's when the harassment started. Clout visa kept calling my phone asking me to pay of course I had no problem with that I agree to pay 100 dollar so I could get within my limit and I will start paying the minimun payment because I was making that much. To my surprise, the next bill came even higher because they added to over the limit charges and then access the 100 dollars to my payment. When I call trying to get them to help me and asked what had happened they were unwilling to help and would not revised my case in any case the over limit kept getting higher and higher and now the bill is $1600 dollars!!!. I gave up I tried to pay but the settlement that they offer is so high is not even worth it.

Clout didn't ruin your credit YOU did

First of all you are lying I used to work for clout. Yes if you are over the limit you get a fee, if you are late you get a fee, and you are charged interest for as long as you carry a balance. That is until your acct has to send it to a collection agency which it takes a long time for them to do that and they warn you over and over. Someone calling you to pay the bill is not harrasing you. You probably had a balance of $600 went over the limit and got an overlimit fee. Then just decided you didn't like that so you just weren't going to pay.

Your next bill would have also included a late fee because you either paid the last bill late or not at all and that would bring you to $660. Your are lying and putting this on here trying to get back at them and make them look bad. Saying your balance went to $1600 from fees is a huge lie.

FYI after a certain point where you have gotten so many fees they don't even charge them anymore. Under no circumstances is it ever possible for them to put your balance from $600 to $1600 in fact not even close to it. Just because your parents still treat you like a kid you are not. You are 18 or over and in the real world you are not a kid. It is your fault you got a credit card when you knew nothing about one and then went and bought things you couldn't pay for.

You are responsible to know what you are doing getting a credit just like everyone else is. Clout didn't ruin your credit you did. In the real world whining and screaming is not going to make things dissapear. Grow up.
