I canceled my account with Wells Fargo Credit Defense Service, and continued to be charged the monthly payment. I conference called with both Wells Fargo Card Services and Credit Defense, and all agreed I was charged in error, but I was told there was nothing I could do to reverse the charges other than wait 2 months for a refund. Wells Fargo and Credit Defense are affiliates, and they are obviously involved in a scam to collect interest on these fees while forcing customers to hold onto the unauthorized debt. I am interested in initiating a class action lawsuit and would like to hear from anyone who feels they have been misled, ripped off, or abused by the Credit Defense program affiliated with Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Card Services.
