I run a free internet forum on the website http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com.

My company InterNext Technologies Inc. (which owns the domain Debtconsolidationcare.com) does not provide financial services to any consumer. We make our revenue which pays for the servers and the bandwidth through Google adsense and leads as explained in point number 1 and point number 21 of the terms of service posted at: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/tos.html

We are a technology company running the forums and writing software to be able to create an easy exchange of knowledge and information on the DebtCC website.

In your complaint you said that “I received an email from Consumer Credit Counseling of America. They sent me a contract that looked like a contract for debt settlement”

DebtCC is not "Consumer credit counseling of America" and we have never sent out any contract to any consumer.

In your complaint you also stated: “Then, porn lawyer Steve Workman worked on my file and really messed me up.”

My company or me personally we have never hired or employed "Steve Workman" and we do not even know who he is.

If you want any proof please contact me and I will be happy to provide you with any proof that you might need to be certain.

When you posted my name on the internet and called me a scammer it caused me a lot of emotional distress. But, I take solace in more then 1200 testimonials that DebtCC forums have received and you can read them at:

I am registered with the Reno BBB and in the last 5 years in business my company has only had 2 BBB (non profit national organization) complaints.

The first complaint was made by a user who had asked a question in the forum with his real name and then later complained to the BBB that his name was coming up in Google searches with an embarrassing bankruptcy related question. I changed his real name to a 'Screen name' as soon as I got the complaint. The 2nd complaint with the BBB was made by a debt settlement company that alleged that negative information about their debt settlement company was not being removed from the debt consolidation care forums. I am sure Reno BBB will easily share the history of these 2 complaints with other people to prove that Debtcc is an honest business.

This site makes their money off leads. The employees are outsourced to India and the CEO seems to deploy "google spammers" from India and potentially Bangladesh. If you consider how they build links and you look at the tactics deployed it can tell you a lot about the site you are dealing with. Google will catch up one day because their web marketing tactics are against Google's policies. Links are supposed to be natural!!!!

Moreover, the "experts" on these sites that Vikas has are mostly employed in India and cannot offer the kind of advice someone who is local in a market or industry can provide.
