Debt Managment Foundation Services took advantage of the very situation they claim to help. Kept funding with no return, lied to me about what services they would or would not give. Rip-off! Largo Florida

As My crumbling financial state worsened, I called DMFS to check out what they had to offer in the way of debt managment. Before I really understood what was going on the sales individual had me agreeing to use their company exclusivly for debt managment services.

I was told that they could not include medical bills or a check protection bank account. I went ahead and verbally agreed to sign up thinking this was all there was available.

After checking around I found another debt managment service that would work with all my creditors, and for less money monthly. Before I could cancel my agreement with DMFS, they had already deducted the initial deposit/detup fee of $499.00.

When I tried to recover those funds I found that they had the legal right to keep them since I had verbally agreed to the arangment. Apparently a client has only 72 hours to cancel this agreement in writing via fax to be refunded the initial fee.

According to DMFS I can resign up with them for their services and upon the completion of their program I will be refunded the $499.00 set up fee. Sounds pretty sticky, dosen't it?

Then I was told by the customer service individual for DMFS that they could work with those creditors that the original sales individual said that they could not work with! Doesn't this make my original verbal agreement nul and void if accurate information was not forthcomming when I was asked to agree with the arangment originaly?
