Debt XS Don't Do it Frisco Texas

I ended up filing bankruptcy. They took about $1,200 of my money, I got about $500 back. I could have just paid my lawyer that money and got out of it all sooner. And by the way when they want to charge you for "legal advice" and they claim their fee is cheaper than you would get elsewhere, guess what? a consultation with a bankruptcy lawyer is FREE. Yes, FREE and then you decide if you want to go with it. And I found out some REAL advice on action I could take to protect myself in that phase of it all when I was deliquent for a year. And by the way if I would have even stayed with the program, I would have been sued before I could save up all of the money to settle, and also I am now quite aware that one of my creditors would not have gone with settlement.

The reason I know is filed my bankruptcy in the nick of time because I had to come up with the money for the fee first, which some of which was down the drain to DebtXS. I had received a letter from an attorney with the intent to sue. Just go ahead and file and get it over with, your credit report is screwed anyway by the time you get to that point, and will be with you for 7 years anyway, no matter what.

Just advice from someone who has been there.
