DEBT XS The company ruined my credit and robbed me. Addison Texas

In July/05 my wife and I were in debt for quite a bit of money. So we were referred to Debt XS who told us that they could reduce our monthly payments and have us be debt free in 36 months.

When we signed up with them our initial responsibility was to stop paying our credit card bills (which we had never done) for a period of time. In the meantime Debt XS said they would call the credit card companies to negotiate our debt with them. All the while Debt XS was taking a monthly payment from our account.

We followed their instructions to the T. Only to have the credit card companies, after a few month of not paying, tell us that NO ONE had ever contacted them on our behalf and we received a summons to appear in court for not paying the creditos.

So while our credit was getting RUINED, Debt XS did NOT hold up to their part of their agreement to contact the creditors to clear our credit. When we questioned Debt XS about the summons they said they could not help us and told us to get a lawyer. They also did not refund the money they had been taking from us.

Its been 3 years now and we still have not recovered from the hurt that our credit had taken from siging up with those frauds.
