Debticated Consumer Counseling Inc. ripoff false promises ripoff thieves Huntington, New York

I was taken for a ride. I contacted Debticated Consumer Couseling trying to reduce my interest rate.
Philip McCarthy, Senior Account Executive was my consultant.

He faxed me a debt sheet to list all my accounts.
He told me that 4 of my creditors had reduced my interest rate. He also stated that my accounts would be frozen until they were paid.

I asked if I would be able to use my cards after they were paid in full. He stated that I would not have any problems at that time. Mr. McCarthy asked how much I could pay on my bills per month.

I stated $500.00 and he was excited and stated how soon could I send the money? I sent a money order and waited to hear from him. I later called and told him that one of my creditors had called and I explained that there was an agreement already through Debticated. I told them the interest rate had been reduced. The credit card person told me that there was no agreement made and that the interest rate had not been reduced.

I was so upset I called all of my credit cards and they all confirmed that they did not receive any calls from Debticated. I called Philip McCarthy and told him I wanted to cancel and wanted my $500.00 back. He stated that I had made a $500.00 chatitable donation to them.

I am now 60 days late on my payments and have to pay more money for late fees. My accounts were not late before just the interest was high.
