Debticated Consumer Counseling ripoff, dishonest promises Huntington New York

Hope that you can help me with the rather large problem for me.

I went through a divorce in 2001 which left me with a subtantial financial debt that was hard to overcome. I had sought help to pay off a credit card debt that had risen to $17,350. I had searched the internet and found several but decided to try Debticate Consumer Counseling.

After filling out a on-line filing form, I was contacted by account executive Monty Simmons who told me that he could help my pay off this debt within 3 years. He called back several days later to tell me that he negotiated with MBNA (my credit card company) for a zero interest, $446 a month 36 month payoff ($6 was thier fee).

I agreed to this and he sent me paperwork to fill out to get this started. I was eager to get my financial life back in order and get that 17K paid off quick.
My bank account was debited $446 every month for 31 months and then all of sudden my account was transferred toTCN The Credit Network.

I didn't think anything was serious about this and continued to make my payments to TCN. I was excited this past year because I thought that finally this debt would be off my back. I have been trying to obtain my balances during the last couple months because I wanted to apply for a home mortgage very soon.

Well I finally got through with them yesterday and was told my balance with MBNA is currently over $14,000! During the first 31 months after paying my intital fee of $446 to Debticated I paid out a little over $14,000 to them. Not to mention paying 4 months to TCN the same amount. I feel cheated and ripped off. Out of the over $14000.00 I paid into DEBITCATED, they paid only $3000 to MBNA.

I truly hope that you can help me. I feel helpless and cheated by a company I had trusted. I hope to hear from you soon and to tell you the truth really would like to drive a stake right into their hearts!
