EMERGE CREDIT CARD emerge rip off never can seem to pay off them Atlanta Georgia

My providian card was in good standing just had raised my credit limit and was bought by emerge at the time I owed around $490 when was bought out account was closed. Never recieve billing statements on time sometimes not even monthly but after I also requested account to be closed still getting charges such as: payment reversal charge????what is that? I pay $50.00 they charge me a payment reversal charge of $50.00 the next day??? Then a late payment charge of $35.00...then on top of that a overlimit fee of $29.00!!! What is this? A RIP OFF!!!

Now 2 years later I owe almost $900.00 and I only owed around $490.00 to begin with! You never can get ahead with this company they call your home up to 10:00Pm and call up to 20 times a day, 7 days a week! Whats the since in paying them if you just get charged more for no reason but trying to pay them off...they have made my credit score worse!

I'm just about ready to quit paying and suffer my credit because of it. I am over paying these people you can't get anywhere with them when you try and talk to them on the phone, they are the rudest people I have ever talked to. One day they called and I asked them since it seemed I couldn't get this card payed off would they do a settlement or payment assistment program they said they don't offer settlements but would send me info for the assistment program I have filled the form out and returned it twice but nothing..I called to ask everytime they tell me it takes up to 3 billing cycles to start that was about a year ago?? What kind of company is this?? I should be out of business.
