A few years ago I placed several credit card accounts with Federated Financial in hopes that they could help improve my credit. Their customer service started off being great, but for the past six months it has been a hassle to get a response to emails or phone calls.

For the past two months, my payments have been deducted from my checking account and my creditors have not been receiving any payments.

When I tried to contact Federated Financial about this problem every phone number I have for them or could find on the internet have been disconnected, their website does not exist anymore and any emails sent to their company come back undeliverable. I understand that Hurricane Rita hit this area and this may explain why they haven't had phones for the past two weeks, but it does not explain the poor customer service for the past six months or why my creditors were not paid the 6 weeks prior to the hurricane's impact.

So far I have discovered that they have taken $464 from my bank account in the past two months without making payments to creditors, but more than that my once excellent credit score has decreased dramatically in the past 60 days due to this fraud.

My creditors are now calling me daily and I have had to file a fraud report with my bank. I need to get my money back and restore my credit score to the high numbers it once was at, whether this be through a class action lawsuit or not.

Hello, I don't understand that if you had excellent credit, why did you need this outfit to run interference for you?

I'm sorry you got ripped off, I have heard a lot of these "credit counselors" are not legit.

People can deal with the credit card people themselves and work out a payment plan or discount payoff.
