Federated Financial Services Left us high and dry Deerfield Beach Florida

Thinking that debt consolidation was a better option than filing for bankruptcy we put out feelers to find a reliable debt consolidation firm.

The person that contacted us from Federated Financial was a smooth operator. A silver tongued devil to be exact. All for a mere $600 we could start our way back to GREAT credit ratings.

I was sort of skeptical, it sounded just too good to be true.

After filing out the reams of faxed paper work, we sent them a check for $600 then came the phone call that they had miscalculated our debt repayment and would need another $300.

I hesitated telling my spouse that we had not seen a glimmer that they were really going to go through with this payment deal.

When the next phone call came I told the person, our credit/debt counselor that we just couldn't come up with that much $$$. And that for $900 we could pay off our own bills without thier interference.

Our debt counselor was all too understanding and sickening sweet while on the phone. I told him no more money until I saw some kind of proof that they were on the up and up. Smooth operator that he was agreed.

That was the last we heard from our counselor. NONE of our bills got paid and only one of our credit cards responded with a confirmation letter that FFS had contacted them. After numerous phone calls all which were mysteriously misdirected or cut off we realized we had been bamboozled.

So not only were we out $600 but it cost us another $900 to file bankruptcy. A tough lesson to learn BUT if we can stop these outlaws from stealing other peoples money we will feel a bit vindicated! Beware of FFS there is no "easy" way out of irresponsible debt!
