Federated Financial Services ripoff I am paying FFS more than I was by just paying the creditors myself. Deerfield Beach Florida

I have been with FFS for a bit over a year. The employee I spoke with originally is a close relative of the VP/CEO Steve Miller.

I explained that I was not delinquent on the two accounts I wanted to consolidate, but I wanted to have one payment and hopefully lower interest rates. He told me that is not a problem, even with both the creditors I had. One is notorious for being a pain in the a**.

He told me they would work to have my interest rate dropped in half, and my payments would be way more affordable. Not to mention have them both paid off in 2 years.

The lesser of the two balances he said would be paid off in one year, they would put the bulk of my payment towards that, then after that have the whole payment go towards the one account.

I am paying FFS more than I was by just paying the creditors myself. The balance on the one account that had the smaller balance has in fact gone UP! They have paid the accounts late effecting my credit report. Not to mention causing me to be charged late fees. The "processing charge" they've collected off of me is more that my balances have decreased!

I have paid close to three thousand dollars and despite their claims on their web site "the money you pay actually goes towards your debt." Is a flat out lie!

They are impossible to get in touch with via the phone for one it is a toll call, and two their offices close at 5 pm. I don't get home until 5.

I too was swayed and duped by the "BBB member" claim. If your considering it just turn and run the other way!!
