On Mar. 12th, I was contacted by a very friendly telemarketer named Yani promising me she can help reduce by credit card debt. She explained that they would call the credit card company while I was on the phone and see if I qualified for this service. Unfortunately, she caught me in a very weak moment and I stupidly gave her my credit card number (of two of my cards), their expiration dates, and the last four of my social - yea, what an idiot!! Anyway, she made the calls but put me on hold and did not allow me to listen to the call. She then returned and congratulated me that I was eligible for their program to reduce the rate on my cards. She eventually passed me to her supervisor, Jarrell Hendrix, to confirm and record that I wanted to participate in their program.

After some fast talking and quick sales job and several questions later, I found out that they do charge you $999 to do this service. When I said that I wanted to talk to my husband first, he assured me that they would not charge my credit card until they actually started the negotiations with my card company which was scheduled for the next Monday, 3/16 and that I could cancel at any time before then. He even provided me a customer service number to call. But no one answers and you can only leave a message and no one ever calls you back.

I found out that they charged my credit card the $999 immediately that day. So please be aware of these scum bags that take advantage of all of us unemployed struggling debtors in these especially hard times. Shame on them !!! They know you are weak and with some fast talking can get you. They did me and I am no dummy. Well, I guess I am now.
