I was looking to rebuild my credit, and so I accepted an offer from First Premier Bank. I was given a $250 credit limit, but only had access to about $50 worth; the rest I had to pay into (that should've told me something right there, but I was just so desperate to try and rebuild my credit that I did it). Most credit card companies increase your credit limit based on your repayment history; First Premier Bank does not. I was told that I would have to pay a $25 credit limit increase fee. They offer NO incentives to stay on as loyal customers, only fees.
