Freedom Resource - Lenox Capital Inc. ripoff: under-handed 100% illegal, thief's Woodstock Georgia

Freedom Resources contacted me through a telemarketing phone call. They offered me a $5,000 dollar credit limit with no annual fee. The Best part of their deal was a "supposed" APR of 0% for the first 4 years. All for $221.95, 100 of which was supposed to be a rebate on my first purchase. I agreed to the terms at the very begining of January.

However, after two months had passed, they had not taken the money out of my account. I put a stop payment on the check. I was afraid I would not have sufficent funds, as they had long extended the time frame they had given me for the withdrawl. I called them to ask what was going on, I was told they were changing banks and accounts where slowed.

At this point in time I told them that I would have to wait now until I had the $221.95. After receiving some bounced checks during the month of March, I balanced my checkbook. I did not find any errors so I went to my bank and had them print out a statement on which I found that Freedom Resource had drawn out the money on 3/12/03.

I was livid... the check number that they used is completely bunk.. it does not match anything that I have. So I tried hundreds of phone calls for two weeks straight to try and contact them, to no avail. The phone company reported their number as a dead line. I called the chamber of commerce for Woodstock. I talked with the business office, only to find out that they are not licensed.

Also that their office was a P.O. box. I went to my local police... filed a report. I asked my bank to do a ACH transaction, which I am still hopeful may return my money. They told me to check back in two weeks. If anyone can help me get back my money please let me know.
