GE CAPITAL CONS CARD CO Aka CareCredit Ripoff "NO PAYMENTS FOR 1 YEAR" ruined my credit report stating that I was 6 months past due on monthly payments LOUISVILLE Kentucky

In April 2001 I decided to go to a dental office and have some cosmetic crowns put on. The dental office offered GE Capital Cons Cardco aka CareCredit credit card with "no down payment, no monthly payment, and no interest for one full year".

I thought what a great deal. Then about two months later I received a late payment notice in the mail from GE Capital Cons Cardco. After several calls they said that it was a billing error and would fix it immediately.

Two more months went by and I then received a late payment notice stating that I was five months behind on my monthly payments, which included late payment fees and finance charges (interest).

I called GE Capital Cons Cardco back again and had to explain everything all over. The process was horrible and time consuming.

Month after month I received notices. I always had to call them and talk with supervisors, again and again. Finally I had saved enough money and paid the entire balance over the phone.

However, the bad news is that it affected my credit report. My credit report states that I went $ 330.00 over my credit limit. I was late, past thirty days, six months in a row.

Now it is April 2004, three years later and I have not been able to get the past - due bad remarks off of my credit report.
