GE Capital insisted that I pay for credit card insurance after fulfilling my 12 month interest free payment obligation even though I never signed the original credit application requesting this service. They are playing hard ball and using the Consumer Fair Credit Act as a shield. This is a contractual issue where they have no basis to charge customers for a service the customer never requested or signed for !

Someone has apparently taken my personal information and attempted to optain an account which was denied.(Thank goodness). Does anyone have the phone number to this company? I would like to call them. This GE Capital Card Consumer Company has issues! I have never applied with them and never will.
