Company sent official looking papers attempting to collect on a 35+ year debt that had been resolved through bankruptcy.

Insinuated that my credit rating would suffer unless I took their generous offer of obtaining a Pearl Gold MasterCard thru WebBank to put my debt on and then begin paying off.

I did not call the number or log on to any of their contact information because I did not want them to have any further information regarding me.

After you read through the letter; the credit card pamphlet from WebBank; a pseudo Q&A paper and a Disclaimer where they finally mention that your debt 'may be outside the applicable statute of limitations period, then a legal action cannot be filed to collect this debt and legal action cannot be threatened.'

Be sure you read everything, especially the Disclaimer so you can see that this is a false ploy to get money from you.
