There are many companies doing it and the FTC is starting to crack down, but I wanted to report here on my investigation into a telemarketing fraud and Economic Fraud ring at GROWTH FINANCIAL in Orlando.

GROWTH FINANCIAL is a predatory telemarketing group that promises to lower credit card interest rates to 2.9% with a saving of more than $2500. They prey on the unwitting, innocent people that don't really understand the language and the senior citizen...or just the uninformed. Their basic premise is to GET YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE NO MATTER WHAT. They will say whatever they can to get you to give them your information. They misrepresent they are "CARD SERVICES" or "CONSUMER SERVICES" for your bank, and they charge you $998 on the spot before you realize what happened. Reading from a simple script, the rag tag group of telemarketers will pose as various departments like "Legal", "Verification" and others to give the appearance of a big outfit, when in truth it is only a small boiler room of misfits.

The service is non-cancellable. They utilize phone systems to generate NON-STOP TELEMARKETING RECORDED MESSAGES ALL DAY LONG (PHONE SPAMMING)regardless of whether you are on the DO NOT CALL LIST or NOT. They are fraudulant, illegal and predatory and need to be stopped. Once you are on their list, you will get automatic calls everyday ...until they are shut down.
