Home Assure Took $ 1500.00 and said they had an agreement worked out with our mortgage company, when they lied and never contacted us again. we are now in foreclosure. New York New York

I contacted Home Assure and discussed our situation with a Tony Henderson who said they could help us. I sent them $ 1500.00 and he gave me his phone number and contact information. He said a mitigation specialist would be in contact. Geodonna Fountain contacted me by phone and then emailed me the things she needed to be able to contact our mortgage company. I faxed it directly to her. Geodonna Fountain called and said she had talked to the mortgage company and a plan had been worked out so we could keep our home. She said not to discuss anything with the mortgage company and she would be in contact with me.
I waited two weeks and tried to contact her by email and numerous phone calls and she never returned any. I tried to contact Tony Henderson and his number had been disconnected.

On Tuesday December 23 a person by the name of Bradley called me on my cell phone and said Geodonna Fountain and Tony Henderson were no longer with Home Assure and that he was now handling our file. I asked him to email me and give me his complete name, email address, and phone number which he did not do.
We are now in foreclosure and we are unable to contact Home Assure. We have been ripped off for $ 1500.00 and will probably loose our home because of this company's practices. I would like to know how the state of Florida can let companies operate there without shutting them down.
