AFS – which was established in 1983 – has changed its name to
Embrace Home Loans in part to avoid confusion with other financial
services companies as it continues to grow.
The new name “reflects more where we’ve been than who we’ve become,”
the company said in a press release on the change. “So we’ve decided to
make a change, and searched for a name that defines not only what we do
but also what we care about.”
