They made it sound good, sounded like we would be able to catch up on our bills by consolidating, but they screwed us $250! That may not sound like a lot to some people, but that is a weeks income for us! They promised us a certain time frame when we would recieve the credit card and we kept calling them to find out where it was!
They debited our checking account in August 31, 2001. We called them in September. Get this...their first excuse was "We are located two blocks from the World Trade Center, it will take another 6-8 weeks."
Still, we did not recieve anything in the mail. We called again in November they said "It should be there the beginning of January, after the holidays."
The next time we called was at the end of January 2002, there was some weird recording. I called the phone company to see if it was just phone trouble, but they said "No, the business no longer exists." Because of them taking the $250 from our account and NOT keeping their promise of sending us a credit card, we fell behind on our other bills, had a lousy Christmas for our three children and still are out that $250!
Never again will we trust anyone!
