Liberty Settlements Stole money from us! Erroneously collected customer fees and would not return them...now they can't be reached. Houston, Texas

We entered into an agreement with Liberty Settlements for them to negotiate with our creditors-they did not do their job and we ended up being sued by one of our creditors so took that amount owed to that creditor out of the agreement with Liberty, requesting that they change their customer fees due to the fact that the fees were based on the total amount of debt we owed and now that amount had decreased.  They did not change their fees.

One month back in November of 2010 they collected customer fees twice from our account-we called and emailed multiple times for months, requesting that they refund us one of the customer fees and they did not ever do it.  We filed a claim with the BBB hoping that would create some movement on their part but it did nothing.  Now we are unable to locate them at all.  Apparently they have been shut down due to their unlawful, unethical business practices.  We were SCAMMED! We paid them nearly $9000 in customer fees...we could have paid off a few of our creditors with that!!!!
