I made an electronic balance transfer to a new credit card from my higher interest Wachovia Visa card. The transfer was posted to my new credit card on December 15, 2005. Although the transfer was done electronically, Wachovia didn't credit my account until 8 days later.

The transfer was a substantial amount of money. Since credit card companies calculate interest on a DAILY basis, I have to pay interest for the full 8 days on both my new credit card AND the Wachovia card. Accident? Oversight? I think not!
