Merchants Credit Guide another rip-off collection agency! Chicago Illinois

I recently received a letter from Adam Kelly at Merchants Credit Guide claiming that I owed a debt to Citibank for about $2,200. This was an account that was closed years ago and the statute of limitations had already run on it.

A couple of months ago, I was contacted by CAMCO about the same account. I told both CAMCO and Merchants credit Guide that the statute of limitations had run out already and I wasn't going to pay. The guy at Merchants credit Guide (Roger Moore?) told me that the statute of limitations didn't matter and started calling me names and swearing at me when I told him I wouldn't pay. That's even worse than the treatment I got from CAMCO. It makes me wonder if they are connected to CAMCO in any way.
