This company sends an "Approval Guaranteed" certificate saying that you will receive a platinum card with a guaranteed line of credit of $5,000. They ask for a processing fee of $45.00 or $49.00 for rush processing. What tipped me off is the fact that they do not specify what type of card you will receive (i.e. Mastercard, Visa, etc). Also, by reading the acceptance certificate carefully, you will see that the card can be used "for all purchases from the credit provider". This can't be a Visa or Mastercard, only a line of credit from who-knows-where. Fortunately, I did a search on the internet and came across this site which verified this was not a bank, but a rip-off. I'm glad I thought to check before putting my check in the mail.
