Received number of calls from them starting 4/09. say account was old credit card and owe $4654.57. account "sold to" them in 05. when asked why it took 4 yrs to contact us, they said info was being sent to my "old" address in CA. it is my ex-wifes address and i've never lived there. Unable to give ANY info as to date card issued, where charges made on what dates, etc. only that it is Discover card. told them it must be fraudulent charges b/c i've never lived there and i don't have any outstanding debt. they then mailed forms to fill out for which i need to attach copies of my ss card, drivers licence, passport, proof of residency. ARE THEY NUTS!! Now i will call and tell them get lost, i'm onto their game. Oh, and payments are to be sent to a PO Box.....................
