I applied for and recieved the Rewards 660 Visa card last summer. At first I was pleased with the service but after considering all the monthly and annual fees decided to cancel my card within my 30 cancellation period.

When I called in to cancel I paid my balance off in full and destroyed the card. About 3 weeks later I recieved a bill in the mail with a $40 payment due, so I called in and asked why I was recieving a bill when I had closed out my account and paid my balance in full?

I was assured that it was a mistake and told to just disregard the bill and that I did not have a balance. A few more weeks later I again received another bill this time for over $100 two months worth of minimun payments and a late charge had been added to my account.

I again called in and was told again that this had been a mistake and that they were terrible sorry for any inconvenience and assured me again that this would be taken care of. About a month after this I recieved a letter from a law firm and was informed that my account had been turned over to collections for non payment.

When I called and spoke the a representative of the law firm she asked me to send in a formal dispute form detailing my account, I did as I was asked and was told that I would be contacted within 30 days to let me know the outcome.

It is now close to 4 months since my last contact with Visa Rewards 660 or their law firm, when I call I can not seem to reach anyone and have not heard a thing back from their law firm. I would advise against applying for this card had the company not stopped accepting applications.
