This bottom feeder debt collection  company purchased a bundle of debts from chase bank accounts of 120,000 on 22,000 different accounts He did not realize upon purchasing the debt that many of these accounts were  not in debt and were paid to chase He was scammed by chase and is trying to recover his losses by sending threatening letters and filing small claims court cases against innocent people. I had to take a day off of work 2 times so far to resolve this matter I appeared before the judge at the  new york court room at 9 :00 AM  it was crowded with many non english speaking citizens many who were clue less to why or what was being done to them . They called the plaintiffs name 2 different times both times I the defendant stood and said here  to the judge , this lawyer was not in the courtroom for the final call at 10:45 AM the judge said what a waist of our time and was ready to default , when a woman who had been sitting directly in front of the judge both times said oh no I can take that. I was approached by this woman who refused to show me any proof of her employment to this Stephen Einstien and ASSociates she said no. I asked why did you not answer the Judge and the clerk the first 2 times they called this Lawyers name? she was smug and said oh I did not hear her she replied referring to the judge. I Guess Stephen Was out to late and over slept and could not make his court appearance so he contacted or was contacted by a buddy debt collection person and they decided it was okay to just say that you work for me thank you for looking out.  I was then seated at a table with an arbitrator who asked if i ever had a Chase Account I said yes but it has been closed 4 years now and if you look at the last transaction of my account paper bill mailed to me shows there was no balance. I put a motion to have this case adjourned until all the discovery can be completed on this original debt . The most serious matter to me was that a defendant had to leave the court room to make a call his attorney was present in the court room the judge called the defendant and it was only the first time she called his name the lawyer said he is outside the door let me get him the judge ruled in default right away and sealed the folder , his lawyer was very upset .  Now with the plaintiff regarding my case  being called 2 times and not answering the judge until a 3 rd time a person(lady) who was in the room stood up and said oh I got this. Why was the judge so quick to default against the defendant ? Why was not Stephen Einstien defaulted and given 3 roll calls . I would like to if there are other people who witnessed this type of travesty at debt court.1 center street NYC room 428
