Want My Damn Money Back.

AUTHOR: Ashmika - Elk Grove (U.S.A.)

I got a call one day in mid april of 2004 from a visa mastercard company (dont recall the name of the company) stating that I had filled out an credit card application with Bank of America earlier and that I have been approved. I didnt recall appling for a credit card becuase I had an Account with Bank of America back in 2001, which has been closed.

Thinking that i probably did apply for a credit card i went along with it. I was told that I got approved for a master visa card for a credit limit of $2500. Since I dont have enough credit points i need to pay an amount of $299 in order to get this credit card. Since I didnt have a credit card. I made a check by phone to the order of Master Visa Card with an amount of $299. I was given a verification number along with their toll free number which is 1-800-410-1682 to get hold of them. I was also told that my money will be deducted from my back account on the 26th of April. Also that my new credit card will be
mailed out in approximately 4-6 weeks.

I called 1-800-410-1682 on April 28th to change my mailing address. The person that helped me on the phone told me that I should receive my card before May 30. When I didnt receive my card by May 30th, I tried calling the toll free number and guess what?? That number is no longer in service. I came online to do a research on this number and this is where i ended. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME OR HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK.
