VersaDebt Promised to lower credit card interest rates and provide a payoff plan. Atlanta Georgia

VersaDebt contacted my husband and I approximately eight months ago. They promised to lower our credit cards to as low as 6.0% - fixed rate! They told us we were qualified for a "special rate" due to our good standing in credit card payments. They also promised to provide us with a dilineated pay off plan to pay off our cards quickly and save us money.

They set up an appt. to contact our creditors. They were able to drop only 2 of our 5 cards - from 19.99% to 10.9%. However! Within three months the card companies informed us that the cards were going up to 20% unless we cancelled the cards all together - so we did. So much for fixed rates!

They did send a "pay off plan" but it was full of errors and miscalculations. My husband called, furious, and demanded our $800.00 fee back. To no avail. VersaDebt did send a new pay off plan with "corrections". However, all it did was demonstrate the need to pay off higher interest rate cards first.

Something we already had been doing.

We have tried to pull in help from the credit card company whom we paid this company on to see if they can revoke the charges. We still haven't heard back from them. We have heard nothing from VersaDebt - who told us they would contact us again in six months (this was eight months ago) to try to further reduce our credit cards.

Boy did we get taken for a ride on this one. Please! Take it from me, whatever you do, do not have anything to do with this company.
