Make it very clear CIC Monitor/consumerinfo.com and ALL ALIASES are not authorized to place ANY charges of any kind, on all of your future accounts.

The Rip-offReport.com gets victims submitting Reports from this corporation and all their aliases nearly every day.

Your situation is different, because you had the charge removed and they billed you again. I'm perplexed, and never heard of them stooping to that level. It's a fraudulent charge just the same, if you never accepted their offer for a "Free" credit report or enrolled in their "credit card security monitoring program". It is ironic that they CLAIM to provide a security service, while they do the COMPLETE OPPOSITE.

See if you might get a card, with a different account number re-issued, but change ALL other accounts as well. If you have different credit cards, or possibly a savings account, change ALL of those numbers now. I know it's a headache, but they have been known to bill people as much as a FULL YEAR later for the $79.95 specified amount.
