Cic Credit Report I had no idea how much a "free" credit report would really cost me. Angola Nationwide

I signed up for a free credit report from privacy matters when i was denied a credit card and wanted to know why. I read all the information very carefully and agreed to pay the 1.00 because i knew i could call and be refunded the amount.

I checked my credit report and got my credit score and all was good. I always check my online banking, so the next day i did, and saw that I was not only charged from privacy matters, but from two other companies, shopping essentials, and saving smart.

So that day, i called to cancel all three credit reports. I was only refunded the money, however, from privacy matters, which was fine, because it was only 2.00 in total. Then about a month later, i checked my online banking like i do often, and saw another 1.00 charge and a 12.00 charge, from saving smart and cic credit report, respectively.

I called saving smart and cancelled my membership again, and they told me yet again that i would be refunded the money, but yet again i was not. Cic credit report however told me that i had never cancelled my free membership (which i didnt even know i had signed up for) and told me there was no way to refund the 12.00.

So i called my bank and had to cancel by debit card, which was not hard at all, and i was only out 15.00 but if I knew i would have to deal with four different credit companies and cancelling all the memberships, i never would have thought about signing up. Be careful, because they are all interrelated sister companies, and you will be charged from many different companies.
